About the Role
As a Shipping Agency Supervisor at PT. Sinotrans Overseas Indonesia, you'll be pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our vessel and cargo handling services. You'll oversee daily activities, manage key relationships, and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and optimize husbandry services for vessels, ensuring timely and efficient port calls.
Act as the primary liaison with port authorities, customs, immigration, quarantine, and other relevant government bodies to ensure full compliance and smooth operations.
Manage depot operations and equipment utilization effectively, optimizing resource allocation and maintaining high service standards.
Coordinate and supervise all aspects of vessel arrivals and departures, including pilotage, tugs, and berthing.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of all cargo documentation, such as Bills of Lading, Manifests, and Delivery Orders.
Monitor and supervise cargo loading and unloading operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and adherence to procedures.
Address and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
Foster strong relationships with principals, clients, and internal departments.
Contribute to budgeting and financial oversight of operational costs.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
