PT. Sinotrans Overseas Indonesia, a leading name in global freight forwarding, is seeking Freight Forwarding Staff to strengthen our dynamic team in Jakarta.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has hands-on experience in Export, Import, and/or Customs Clearance (PPJK), and is committed to ensuring seamless global trade operations.

Key Responsibilities
As a Freight Forwarding Staff, you will play a vital role in managing the full cycle of international shipments, including:
• Handling End-to-End Processes: Managing complete export and import activities, from documentation to final delivery, including customs clearance.
• Documentation Mastery: Preparing and processing essential shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
• Invoicing & Billing: Managing invoicing and/or billing processes to customers and/or vendors accurately and on time.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to international trade regulations to minimize risks and delays.
• Effective Communication: Acting as the main liaison between clients, overseas partners, and internal stakeholders with timely and professional updates.
• Rate Negotiation: Securing competitive rates with carriers and service providers to optimize costs.
• Shipment Tracking: Monitoring shipments proactively to guarantee timely delivery and resolve potential issues.
• Problem Solving: Quickly addressing and resolving operational challenges to ensure smooth workflow.

What We’re Looking For
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
• Language Proficiency: Strong command of English & Mandarin (written, read, & verbal).
• Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Industry Knowledge (Advantageous): Familiarity with Incoterms and international trade practices.
• Documentation Expertise: Strong understanding of export & import documents.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years as Freight Forwarding Operations Staff, with hands-on involvement in export/import processes.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work as an outsourced employee.
