English Teacher (Full Time) 📍 Placement: STC Senayan 🏠 Teaching Mode: Offline and Online 💼 Employment Type: Full-time 📚 Subject: English (IGCSE Level, AS/A Level) 🌍 Curriculum: Cambridge IGCSE English Curriculum preferred Job Description We are seeking a passionate, professional, and dedicated IGCSE, AS/A Level English Teacher to provide one-on-one home visit instruction for students following an International Curriculum. The teacher will deliver engaging and effective English lessons that support students in developing strong language skills and achieving academic excellence in the IGCSE curriculum. Key Responsibilities Deliver one-on-one home visit English lessons for IGCSE, AS/A Level students. Prepare and deliver lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE, AS/A Level English syllabus and learning objectives. Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments tailored to the student's academic needs and learning pace. Support students in improving reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Guide students in examination techniques, essay writing, comprehension, and critical thinking skills required for IGCSE examinations. Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly. Provide constructive feedback and communicate learning outcomes with parents. Prepare progress reports and recommend strategies for continuous improvement. Collaborate with parents and the academic team to ensure students achieve their academic goals. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in English Education, English Literature, Linguistics, Education, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in English, preferably at the IGCSE level. Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE, AS/A Level English Curriculum is highly preferred. Strong understanding of IGCSE, AS/A Level examination requirements and assessment standards. Excellent command of spoken and written English. Able to teach English Language and support English Literature subjects when required. Familiar with differentiated instruction and student-centered learning approaches. Patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping students succeed academically. Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
