Backend Developer Lead

"As a Developer Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will provide technical leadership, guide architectural decisions, and ensure the delivery of innovative and efficient software products aligned with business objectives.‍

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
- Design and implement robust software architectures using modern technologies.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from conception to deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute technical strategies.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of software solutions.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in development processes.

Work Arrangement
- Employment type: Outsourced-Contract
- Contract duration: 6 months (with extension possibility)
- Location: South Jakarta
- Work type: On-site/WFO

Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, or Information Technology.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Developer Lead with total 4 years of experience in backend development.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams.
- Hands-on experience in software development projects.

Technical Skills
‍- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React Native, Angular, or React JS.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Understanding of messaging systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps mechanisms.
- Working knowledge of AWS services (SES, S3).
- Recommended expertise in Quarkus framework.

Personal Skills
- Strong leadership and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication with ability to influence.
- Experience managing teams using Agile principles.
- Preferably with knowledge of insurance domain.
- Stays current with IT industry trends.
