Account Office Manager

📍 100% Work From Office (WFO) – Central Jakarta
Reporting to the Head of Operations in Indonesia and Head Office in Singapore, the Office Manager will manage the administrative and financial operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting
• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including the preparation and maintenance of accurate journal entries.
• Prepare, review, and analyze accounting reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors as necessary.
2. Tax
• Handle all tax-related matters, including the preparation and submission of tax reports, ensuring timely and accurate filing.
• Responsible to prepare draft tax calculations, ID Billing, and tax returns for monthly and annual tax compliance purposes
• Responsible for the tax administration (i.e. issue VAT invoice)
• Assisting during the tax dispute or tax refund process
• Responsible to filing tax documents neatly
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant tax requirements.
3. HR & Admin
• Responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing for employees.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and employment laws, managing appropriate deductions for taxes and social security.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee information necessary for processing payroll, such as personal details, salaries, exemptions, and benefits.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports, including social security contributions, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on changes to Indonesia labor laws and regulations affecting payroll processing.
4. Purchasing & Vendor Management
• Manage procurement processes, vendor sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationships.
Ensure timely purchasing, competitive pricing, quality standards, and proper documentation.
Monitor vendor performance and support cost efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of tax regulation.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tax and/or Payroll Specialist
• CPA/CTA Qualification is preferable
• Proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential to effectively communicate with the Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
